US man eats 30000th Big Mac
On Sunday, Mr Gorske, 64, told the New York Post that he had eaten his 30,000th Big Mac two days before.
Look no further than Don Gorske of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who recently achieved his lifelong dream of eating 30,000 Big Macs.
Over the past 44 years, Gorske has only gone a day without eating a Big Mac eight times.
"At the time it was the only McDonald's in town and I had just gotten my driver's license", Gorske said. He drove in a snowstorm to buy the sandwich but the restaurant was closed. He said it took him just 356 days to eat his first 1,000 Big Macs. USA Today reports that he has thousands of receipts, sandwich wrappers, and containers. He keeps almost everything, although he lost about 7,000 items when a tornado ripped the roof off his house.
Tall and lanky, with a graying ponytail and friendly demeanor, Gorske has obsessive compulsive disorder and a meticulous memory, which lends to his Big Mac habit and his penchant for details. He says he is often asked about the effects of all those Big Macs on his health.

He even has the day when McDonald's switched to shredded lettuce marked down: February 10, 1999.
In 2003 Ellen DeGeneres requested Gorske's cholesterol be checked. In case you're wondering, he says his cholesterol and blood pressure are normal - and he weighs five pounds less than he did 5,000 Big Macs ago.
Gorske has appeared in numerous television shows including Rachel Ray Show, Oprah, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Inside Edition, and Lopez Tonight.
He spoke to the press before his historic meal and reminisced about the time he first crossed the McDonald's threshold for a Big Mac. He gave them a half-hour presentation before taking that record-breaking bite into two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, and onions on a sesame seed bun.
