Beyoncé to reunite with Destiny’s Child at Coachella

Page Six has learned that the superstar's publicist sent out an e-mail to news outlets Friday asking them not to publish fans' pictures of her hotly anticipated performance at Coachella-and to stick with the approved shots of Saturday's show instead.

She enjoyed a Destiny's Child reunion with former bandmates Michelle Williams, 37, and Kelly Rowland, 37, at the spectacular show. The "Run the World (Girls)" singer's husband, Jay-Z - with whom she shares Blue Ivy, 6, and 10-month-old twins Rumi and Sir - made a quick cameo to perform the couple's hit 2006 song, "Déjà Vu".

She created history as the first black woman to headline Coachella on Saturday.

It's certainly not the first time Beyoncé has paid her respects to Fela, she's spoken of his inspiration on her music on several occasions, even recording a 20-track Fela Kuti-inspired album prior to the release of her album 4 back in 2011.

Beyoncé performing with Destiny's Child was especially epic because it was the first time the trio of women performed together since the Stellar Gospel Music Awards in 2015. Bey's sister Solange Knowles also stepped out on the stage to dance along to "Get Me Bodied". Beyoncé posted the above photo from the set on Instagram.

The singer's almost two-hour performance also included quotes from civil rights activist Malcolm X as well as samples of Nina Simone.

The crowd was treated with memorable and fantastic jams from the '90s and early 2000s, singing "Lose My Breath", "Soldier", and "Say My Name" wearing matching black and bronze ensembles for the iconic looks from the band's reign on the charts.
