Italy's Valentino Rossi has accused Marc Marquez of deliberately crashing into riders at the Argentina MotoGP, saying he is "scared" to race with him.

Crutchlow took advantage to record Honda's 750th Grand Prix success.

The second MotoGP race of the season saw a lot of drama, with a delayed start when riders opted to pit for a tyre change to slicks from wets due to a rapidly drying track.

It came as Marquez scythed his way back through the order after serving his penalty in the early laps, the result of him illegally returning to his grid slot after stalling his works Honda. Other mistakes were made by Race Direction on the grid, and others were due to the hard conditions, but one thing I know for sure: "never in my career have I intentionally hit another rider".

"Other mistakes were made by race direction on the grid, and others were due to the hard conditions, but one thing I know for sure: never in my career have I intentionally hit another rider". Factory Suzuki's Alex Rins completed the top three.

Pole sitter Jack Miller finished fourth, behind victor Cal Crutchlow, at a damp and chaotic Argentine MotoGP race.

Marquez's misdeeds began with the race's mixed-up start.

The nine-time world champ, who fell off his Yamaha after being nudged by the Honda rider, said "I'm scared of him, and his apology is ridiculous". This meant Miller got a bit of a head-start.

Up at the sharp end, Rins led briefly before he made a mistake, and then Miller had a moment, whereupon both Crutchlow and Zarco dived through, relegating Miller to fourth.

"But from Friday morning, he make like this with [Maverick] Vinales, [Andrea] Dovizioso, he make like this with me in Saturday morning-and today in the race he go straight to four riders, because he do [es it] purposely".

The LCR Honda rider however, regained the lead on the penultimate lap with Zarco coming in hot and managed to take his career's third win, while denying Zarco his first ever.

Marquez was hit by a post-race 30-second time penalty which dropped him out of the points positions while the incident will be reviewed by race officials.

That handed fifth to Vinales, ahead of Dovizioso, an impressive Tito Rabat on a privateer Ducati, Andrea Iannone on the second Suzuki.
