Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey announced his plans on Friday to send about 150 members of the state's National Guard to the U.S. -Mexico border next week.
The Texas National Guard already has 100 soldiers on the border conducting "observe and report" duties, she added. The "lawlessness" at the southern border is "fundamentally incompatible with the safety, security, and sovereignty of the American people" and the administration "has no choice but to act", the document states.
