ZTE brings premium features to its mid-range Blade line

We expect more announcements on Android Go at the MWC and at a lesser price, as Google had assured that some of the Android Go smartphones will cost less than $50 (approximately Rs3,235). ZTE has designed this phone with double-glass housing and a metal frame for better durability. Naturally, the body is downsized as well, measuring 146.8 x 68.7 x 7.6mm. Under the hood, the smartphone makes use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset that is clocked at 1.8GHz. There is a microSD card slot, though, for those who'd like to add another 32GB to their device. The ZTE Blade V9 is priced at Euro 179 around ₹14,276 and Euro 199 around ₹15,800 for the 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variant respectively. The device also sports a 5 Megapixel of selfie shooter camera as Secondary Camera for taking selfies and making Video calls. Some really just want a basic communication device that happens to also bring the Internet into their pockets. Other platform features include 802.11n Wi-Fi, GPU, and Bluetooth 4.2.

The ZTE Blade V9 Vita is priced at $250.

With Android Go, Google strives to deliver smooth experience to users on entry-level smartphones with 512MB or 1GB RAM.

As of the time of writing, the Tempo Go is sold out at ZTE's webstore, but based on the wording in the email we were sent, it doesn't seem like it will remain that way for too long.
