Another 33 percent said the economy is "not so good" or "poor".
According to the poll, most respondents said they did not have confidence in the way President Donald Trump was handling North Korea, and by 52 percent to 32 percent they opposed the recently enacted Republican tax plan.
"Looking at immigration, voters insist emphatically, 'Don't dash the dream.' Voters say that immigrants who were brought here as kids should be allowed to live out their adult lives here as citizens", said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiacpoll.
Trump's policies are helping the nation's economy, 37 percent of voters say, as 29 percent say his policies are hurting the economy and 30 percent say these policies are not making much difference.
