Netflix is coming to the Razer Phone-in HDR

Razer Project Linda

This notebook acts as an extension of the powers and features of the Razer Phone.

However, it is not a traditional gaming laptop despite having the same design language as per the company's Blade gaming laptops. This is because, this comes with a screen, keyboard and basically a full laptop experience, where as solutions like Samsung Dex is just a dock, and you still need to supply the monitor/display, keyboard and mouse. In fact, the core of Project Linda is actually the Razer Phone that the company released a year ago and merged it into a laptop shell. It also has a stellar display, USB Type-C connectivity, and dual front-facing speakers. The smartphone and laptop hybrid concept harkens a new era for mobile personal computing, blending the familiar Android environment with the ease-of-use of a laptop. Then again, the gaming-oriented Windows tablet called Project Fiona unveiled in 2012 did become a real, if short-lived, product sold as the Razer Edge. And the Razer Phone's 120Hz refresh rate translates to smooth visuals on the larger 13.3-inch laptop's display as well. The laptop also contains a 53 Wh battery that Razer claims can charge the phone up to three times, an additional 200 GB of storage, a single USB Type-C charging port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, and a headphone jack.

Right now, Razer says the concept is locked to the Razer Phone specifically, but there's no reason other smartphones couldn't hypothetically be used in the same way, at least as long as they fit into the touchpad slot on the wrist rest. But because it's only using the phone, there is no processing power specifically for the laptop.

Brad Pitt Bids A Whopping $120K On Exclusive 'Game Of Thrones' Viewing
Emilia, who was also at the event, dished out a large bid of $90, 000 for a painting by artist Josh Smith at the event. It was announced that the chance to watch an episode of " Game of Thrones " with star Emilia Clarke was up for grabs.

The triple-headed snake trademark of Razer is one of the most recognized logos in the global gaming and esports communities. Unfortunately, the Razer Project Linda does not have a price tag and since this is just a prototype, it does not appear to get into the mass production phase.

Razer has announced a new software update will begin rolling out later this month to the Razer Phone that will let users take full advantage of the media-consuming technology onboard.
