Winter Storm Watch Begins Late Wednesday Night
High pressure in the Middle Atlantic will bring partly cloudy skies to the Valley into early Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. High near 32. Southwest wind 8 to 10 miles per hour.
Forecasters do not yet know how much snow accumulation is likely.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with scattered flurries before 9 p.m. Along with the snow, northwest winds will be 25 miles per hour, with higher gusts in some locations.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 22.
Friday night, there is a 30 percent chance of snow before 7 p.m., then a chance of snow showers between 7 p.m. and midnight, according to the weather service. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. South wind 5 to 9 miles per hour. Low around 29. West wind 7 to 9 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
The weather service said Wednesday in the area will be partly sunny with a chance of drizzle and a high in the mid- to upper 40s.
