During the charity event, there was an auction offering the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch an episode of Game of Thrones with Emilia Clarke herself, who plays Daenerys Targaryen. Time vs. money spent, that's a much better value for Pitt.

The auction took place on Saturday night at Sean Penn's annual JP HRO Gala charity gala for Haiti.

It was announced that the chance to watch an episode of "Game of Thrones" with star Emilia Clarke was up for grabs. Kit Harrington was also in attendance.

Meanwhile, Pitt bid $80,000 to watch an episode of "GOT" with Clarke.

In the end, Pitt was outbid by a gala-goer who ended the auction at $160,000, but who has yet to be named.

Brad Pitt is serious about "Game of Thrones" fandom - at least when there's philanthropy involved. All eyes were on Harington when he stepped back into the room and the auctioneer joked about his return. DiCaprio, at the next table, appeared to be egging Pitt to bid more, but the "War Machine" actor stopped bidding when the price went up to $150,000, People reported.

It sounds like a real swanky night, with Lena Dunham, Jason Segel, Patricia Arquette, Arnold Schwarznegger and Leonardo DiCaprio all attending.

However, Pitt didn't walk away empty-handed. Emilia, who was also at the event, dished out a large bid of $90, 000 for a painting by artist Josh Smith at the event. Her bid of $80,000 bested "The Revenant" star's, but it turned out there were two copies up for sale, so DiCaprio simply snapped up the second one.
