Trump Postpones Fake News Awards To Jan 17 To Fulfill Great 'Anticipation'

039;The Daily Show' host Trevor Noah appears on 'The Late Show' with Stephen Colbert

President Trump has postponed his highly anticipated "Fake News Awards" for a week in an apparent effort to build even more suspense over the dubious honors.

Trump has been at loggerheads with several United States mainstream media outlets, including the CNN, ABC News, The New York Times and the Washington Post among others.

Trump thinks about his presidency as an hour-by-hour exercise in programming, which is clear from his Twitter feed and the way he drives the coverage to new topics-say, National Football League protestors-when he wants to change the story line.

Fox News has been eliminated from this list, being the favorite channel of Donald Trump. "Victor to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!"

He announced initially announced the awards last Tuesday in a Tweet.

Late in the evening, Fox News listed out some news stories of other networks that later proved to be inaccurate.

Justin Timberlake Announces New Album Ahead of Super Bowl performance
Judging from the teaser trailer's sound and visuals, this record appears to have a bit of a roosty, Americana vibe to it. Timberlake says this album, titled " Man of the Woods ", was inspired by his wife, son, and family.

Trevor Noah's "Daily Show" also has a for-your-consideration graphic on its Twitter feed. The bad news is he's itching to start a nuclear war.

"For your most dishonest & corrupt media awards of the year consideration", the ad began, including various real quotes, including from Breitbart calling the show "political propaganda", and the New York Post describing it as "monotonous...liberal dogma".

Trump had promised to hold the mock awards show to castigate mainstream news organizations for their coverage of his presidency. And we want to hear from you.

It said, "ABC News "MISTAKENLY" reported that candidate Trump directed Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian officials before the election".

"TIME "MISTAKENLY" reported that President Trump removed a bust of Martin Luther King, Jr from the Oval Office".
