PUBG Xbox One gets its first patch

PUBG sells 1m in just 48 hours on Xbox One

Before, Australians and New Zealanders were forced to play on North American, European and Asian servers only. PUBG's community coordinator said this is "the first of many Xbox-focused patch notes to come".

Earlier this month PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) made its Xbox One debut, following months of record-breaking success over on PC.

"This is the start of the road for us". In addition to the first pass visual and performance improvements, you'll see anti-aliasing turned up a notch on Xbox One and Xbox One S. There are also some localization updates for Spanish and Vietnamese languages. "Xbox fan excitement for the launch has been incredible, with more than 1 million players on Xbox One in its first 48 hours alone". Minkonet, based in Seoul, will be building the custom replay settings so that players can get playback of a previous encounter or in-game feat, while the same technology will power a more robust spectating feature for viewers of e-sports contests and Twitch live streamers. More than likely though, the patch has already automatically updated if your game is in standby mode. The mobile version of this game will be released exclusively in Mainland, China and there is no any information on the availability of this game for other countries as of now. So we would definitely get to see this game for the PS4 console, but again there is no any confirmation on this as of now.

PUBG's animations aren't the smoothest in general, but there were some issues specific to the Xbox One version that have been fixed with this patch.
