Sen. Al Franken D-MN has faced calls to resign amid sexual misconduct claims

Sen. Al Franken D-MN has faced calls to resign amid sexual misconduct claims

A former elected official in New England who has requested anonymity tells Jezebel that Al Franken attempted to give her a "wet, open-mouthed kiss" onstage at an event in 2006, shortly before he ran for Senate.

Franken appears to emerge from the right side of the billboard, leaning across to grab a trapeze artist suspended in mid-air portrayed by the actress Zendaya.

Kemplin shared the photo with CNN and the image shows Franken's right arm wrapped around her. Kemplin said she turned her body to shift Franken's hand off her breast before the picture was taken.

Another woman has come forward to accuse Al Franken of sexual harassment.

The woman, identified as army veteran Stephanie Kemplin, told the network that Franken - then a comedian and entertainer - groped her breast while they posed for a photo during a tour of the Middle East to entertain USA troops in 2003.

They went for a massage. They were sexually assaulted instead, report says
The manager refused to end the current spa session and instead she "invited me in to talk about my services", Ingram claimed. The West Chester District Attorney's Office says there have been no other sexual assault allegations at this location.

Kemplin said while she was stationed in the Middle East during the Iraq War, she met Franken - at the time, a comedian and writer - as he was visiting American troops with the USO. "He kept his hand all the way over on my breast", Kemplin told CNN's MJ Lee.

Kemplin, a 41-year-old resident of Maineville, Ohio, is now the fifth woman in two weeks to accuse Franken of inappropriate touching and the second woman to allege that it happened while Franken was on a USO tour. Franken said he does not plan on resigning from his Senate seat. "And I remember thinking - is he going to move his hand?" Franken also disputed Tweeden's account that he kissed Tweeden without consent, but apologized on Monday, saying: "I feel you have to respect the women's experience".

The woman said she came forward anonymously because she did not want her name linked to Franken, but she wants Franken to take responsibility for his actions.

The allegations: Menz told CNN that Franken grabbed her behind during a photo op at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010.

I learned that campaigns have their own rules, their own laws of physics, and that if I wasn't willing to accept that, I would never get to be a senator. "He remains fully committed to cooperating with the ethics investigation", the statement said.
