Vikings continue to put themselves in

Winners of five straight games with Case Keenum at quarterback, the Vikings decided there was no reason to change what's been working before Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Is this the week the Los Angeles Rams run out of luck on the road?

He hasn't thrown a pass in a live game since 2015.

Keenum will go head-to-head with Jared Goff, the former No. 1 overall pick who replaced him as Rams starter in November 2016 after Keenum went 4-5 to begin the season. Minnesota's quarterback had himself a day against the Redskins, throwing for 304 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions. Keenum has outperformed the expectations of a backup and has the Vikings sitting on top of the NFC North. Goff is at the helm of an offense on pace to lead the league in scoring after finishing dead last in points past year. The Vikings' opponent for this week will easily be the toughest team Keenum has faced all year. It is one of the most anticipated games in the NFL. Cooper Kupp contributed 47 yards in six receptions. The Rams lost their remaining seven games after the switch. Defensively, the Vikings are yielding 18.3 points and 294.6 total yards (213.2 in passing and 81.3 in rushing) per game. The Vikings play December 10 at the Panthers.

You could make a case for either one of these teams, as they're both in great form, rely on terrific defenses and have offenses that have been putting points on the board consistently as of late. If Keenum starts to show signs of struggles, then you can expect Bridgewater to play. I simply think we're getting free points with the better team.
