Los Angeles [U.S.A], November 6: The star-studded ceremony of Hollywood Film Awards saw a lot of "hot" chemistry between Kate Winslet and Allison Janney.

NOT everyone gets to meet their heroes, but Kate Winslet got to do rather more with hers after name-checking Allison Janney at the Hollywood Film Awards.

And the crowd went wild.

Winslet, 42, picked up the Hollywood actress award for her role in Woody Allen's Wonder Wheel at the event and referred to Janney in her acceptance speech.

I mean, we could always kiss, maybe?'

Janney hopped out of her seat and ran to the stage as a delighted Winslet said: "Oh, it's going to happen!"

The flick is slated to release on December 1 in the U.S. "I know I don't really know you but I just want to be you". Winslet said. "This is an exciting moment!"

The gala was held in the heart of Hollywood to celebrate the best of the movie industry. This year the award show has been hosted by The Late Late show host James Corden.
