The NIA sleuths also raided the houses of Shakeel Ahmed Bakshi, the patron of the Islamic Students' League, and his brother Showkat Ahmed Bakshi who is a leader of pro-independence Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front and Zamir Ahmed Sheikh, an aide of J&K Peoples' Democratic Freedom Party chief Shabir Ahmed Shah.

In its FIR, the NIA mentioned that Hafiz Saeed and separatist leaders, including members of the Hurriyat Conference, have been acting in connivance with active militants of proscribed terrorist organisations Let, HM, Dukhtaran-e-Millat and other terrorist organisations for raising, receiving and collecting funds domestically and overseas through various illegal channels for funding terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

The NIA since yesterday conducted searches at seven places in Srinagar and on outskirts in the Valley, where the agency has arrested two alleged stone pelters on Tuesday in connection with terror funding.

The agency had in July arrested seven separatist leaders and a prominent local businessman in connection with the probe into the funding to stoke unrest in the valley.

Aga Hassan is said to be close to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

"During searches, FD worth over Rs one crore and lots of incriminating material, suspect financial records, property related documents and electronic devices have been seized", said the NIA press release.

With the arrest of two youth, the NIA has so far arrested 10 people, including spokespersons of both the factions of Hurriyat Conference, two sons and son-in-law of hardline HC chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani since last month after their questioning in Srinagar.

NIA sleuths found three arms - a pistol, a double-barrel gun and a.315 rifle - in possession of Razzaq Choudhary, a close aide of separatist leader Shabir Shah, officials said.

At around 8.00 PM, scores of Aga's followers gathered outside his house and at Imambara of Budgam and they held a strong protest against the NIA search operation. "They will be set free by tomorrow", he said.

All of them, NIA said, are suspected of fuelling secessionist and subversive activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

He added that searches are "still continuing" and "the suspects are being questioned about the incriminating recoveries made from them". The houses reportedly belong to LoC traders.
