On the 6 August 1945, 140,000 people were killed after the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb in the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

But Japan, together with the world's nuclear weapon states and other countries under the USA umbrella have recently refused to participate in the United Nations treaty.
